In May 2024, you shared your insights on walking and cycling improvements in your local area.
You can read a summary of the feedback we received here. You can also explore the pin-drop tool further down this page to see specific comments and their locations.
Next steps
We have collated these insights and created recommendations for the Waitematā Local Board to review and approve. We will then deliver approved projects within our funding constraints. Any projects initiated from this plan will go through community and stakeholder engagement / consultation in line with normal Auckland Transport processes.
Comments and suggestions that we are unable to action within this programme will be passed on to the relevant teams to address.

The Local Active Modes Plan aims to identify opportunities to improve how you experience your neighbourhood.
Your knowledge will help develop a programme in the inner-west suburbs to make them safer and more user-friendly for walking and cycling.
