We’re making Jennifer Place and Shirley Road safer and easier to get around.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, we’re planning to build a new footpath and a safe crossing point (refuge crossing) on Jennifer Place and Shirley Road intersection. These improvements are designed to:

The changes we are making:

  • Installing a new footpath between 15 Jennifer Place and the intersection of Shirley Road
  • Replacing vehicle crossings where necessary
  • Installing a safe pedestrian crossing point (refuge crossing)
  • These changes will result in 2 on-street car park losses

The benefits to your community:

  • Create a safe walkways for everyone, including children, seniors, and people with mobility needs, along Jennifer Place.
  • Make it easier for people to walk and connect to the train station, bus stops and local retail shops.

Our goal is to enhance safety in the community and have continuous connections and convenient options for all residents.
