Project overview

We've received a request from the community to improve safety on Gribblehirst Road.

We propose extending the existing broken yellow lines on the northern side of Gribblehirst Road to improve safe access to and from the Sandringham Road intersection.

What we're proposing

The proposed changes include:

  • Removing one 4.5 metre parking space outside 93 Gribblehirst Road
  • Extending the existing broken yellow lines to the driveway

Please view the proposed changes below.

Why we are doing this

We want to work with the community to deliver safer roads in your neighbourhood.

When a vehicle parks next to this driveway, it can reduce visibility and make it harder for residents to safely enter and exit their property.

The proposed changes would:

  • Benefit the community by improving safety
  • Improve visibility for traffic entering and exiting driveways
  • Improve safe access for vehicles entering the road from the Sandringham Road intersection

Have your say

We value your local knowledge and would like to have your feedback on the proposed changes.

Community engagement is open from 31 August and closes on 11 September 2026.
