About the project

Improving visibility and safety on Grammar School Road, Pakuranga

Residents have expressed concerns about visibility issues when vehicles park at the intersection of Grammar School Road and Pakuranga Road. In response to these concerns, we are proposing to paint broken yellow lines to provide a safer environment for everyone.

What we are proposing

Grammar School Road, Pakuranga DrawingWe are proposing to paint broken yellow lines

It will take one day to paint the broken yellow lines in good weather conditions.

The changes in the proposal include:

  • Painting broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times) around the bend of #176 Pakuranga Road.
  • Painting broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times) around the island and the eastern side of Acmena Lane.

Benefits and impacts

We want to work with you to deliver safer roads in your neighbourhood. These changes would:

  • Make it safer for vehicles when entering and exiting Grammar School Road
  • These improvements would remove 2 on-street parking spaces to improve visibility and accessibility. We acknowledge this can be inconvenient, so we have minimised the removal of parking as much as possible.

What we want your feedback on

With your local knowledge, we invite you to provide feedback on the extent of the broken yellow lines.

How you can have your say

Have your say by completing the online feedback form. The form will be open from 18 November 2024 to 2 December 2024.
