About the project

We’re proposing changes along Bassant Avenue to improve accessibility and safety for all road users.

Local businesses have told us that parked vehicles are blocking the road, making it harder for drivers to navigate safely.

To address this, we are proposing installing no stopping at all times (broken yellow lines) along the road.

What we are proposing

• Extend the no stopping at all times (broken yellow lines) between the driveways of 6-8 and 10 Bassant Avenue.

Benefits and impacts

• Easier for all vehicles, especially large ones to travel along Bassant Avenue.
• Safer access by removing parked cars from the road.
• Improved road space and clear access by removing three on-street parking spaces.
