About this project
We’re improving safety on Titirangi Road by extending the bus stop yellow-line markings up to standard. This is important to provide safe, convenient and well-connected walking options in your community.
The buses currently overhang while stopping for bus users at this bus stop, so we need to repaint the bus stop lines as per standards.
Changes we’re making by mid-2026
- Repainting the yellow-line markings at bus stop #5221 outside 423 Titirangi Road, Titirangi, Auckland
A drawing showing the change is included below.

Benefits to your community
- Up-to-standard bus stops make it easier and safer for the community to move around.
- New road markings will improve and support the bus stop and customer safety.
- Ensure those with mobility needs can navigate on and off a bus more easily.
What happens next
- We will be in touch with local residents and businesses prior to any work taking place.
- Any change to the plan will be updated on our website.
