We’re pleased to let you know that the Takutai Street and St Stephens Avenue, Parnell – Pedestrian improvements project was completed in May 2026. Thanks so much for your patience while we carried out this work.

We installed a pedestrian island in the middle of Takutai Street, with tactile pavers, to provide a safer crossing point and improve safety for pedestrians, particularly school children travelling to and from school.
