We’re improving pedestrian safety for people walking, scootering and cycling along Rosandich Drive, Sunnyvale.
What we are doing
We’re improving pedestrian safety for people walking, scootering and cycling along Rosandich Drive, Sunnyvale.
What we are proposing
To make crossing safer, we propose installing a new pram crossing with tactile pavers to connect the footpaths between 20 and 27 Rosandich Drive. We also plan to install no stopping at all times (broken yellow lines) near the crossing points. How this works
The proposed improvements will help create safer and more accessible connections for people walking, wheeling and cycling through the area.
Download a drawing showing the proposed changes can be found here.
Why we doing this
We’ve received a request from the community to improve crossing facilities at the existing eastern and western footpath ends on Rosandich Drive.
This project is part of our Auckland Transport's Walking Program, which supports more sustainable travel choices by improving walking facilities and connections to public transport, helping people travel safety and easily around their community.
What we want your feedback on
We would like to hear about your thoughts about our proposal, any access or safety concerns with aspects of our design, and anything we may have missed about this design or your community to improvement access along Rosandich Drive.
When can you have your say
