We're seeking your feedback on our proposal to improve access along Rakich Place, Henderson.

What we are doing

We’re improving access in Rakich Place in Henderson. Site observations and feedback from nearby businesses show that large vehicles, particularly heavy trucks, have difficulty manoeuvring near the end of the street and accessing industrial properties safely.

What we are proposing

We propose marking four existing angle parking spaces and install no stopping at all times (broken yellow lines) outside 9 and12 Rankich Place.

How this works

These changes will make it easier for large vehicles to access the industrial properties. Download a drawing showing the proposed changes can be found here.

Why we doing this

We’ve received requests from the local businesses to improve access along Rakich Place in Henderson.

This project is part of Auckland Transport's Minor Works Programme, a community-led initiative that supports practical improvements based on ideas and requests from local communities.

We would like to hear about your thoughts about our proposal, any access or safety concerns with aspects of our design, and anything we may have missed about this design or your community to improvement access along Rakich Place.
