What are we doing to minimise disruption?
We know that in recent years the city centre community has experienced ongoing disruption due to construction activity and so our focus will be on maintaining access and minimising our project’s impact.
When we deliver this project (pending the consultation outcome), to minimise disruption to businesses we will be working with our assets team to coordinate the traffic light installation with the planned road maintenance works on Anzac Avenue.
Before any work starts, we’ll be in touch to let our neighbours know what to expect and who to contact if they experience issues.

When do you plan of delivering the changes?
At the consultation stage, we anticipate delivering this project in the 2024-2025 financial year.
Once we close out the consultation, the project will progress to the detailed design stage. We will update your community once we have more information about the construction timeframe.
