Marua Road and Celtic Crescent, Ellerslie - BYL and White Line Marking extension

About the project

Following a recent car accident and multiple requests from the community to improve driver visibility, we are making changes at the intersection of Marua Road and Celtic Crescent. The latest community request included a report of a crash with photos.

The changes we’re making

Extending the broken yellow lines and the white line edge outside #106 Marua Road.

Benefits to your community:

Auckland Transport would like to work with you to deliver safer roads in your neighbourhood. These changes aim to improve visibility for drivers turning into Celtic Crescent.

These works are scheduled for February 2026

It will take one day to paint the broken yellow lines and in good weather conditions.

Any change to the plan will be updated on this page.

We will be in touch with the local residents and businesses prior to any work taking place.
