Bus stop move on Junction Road, Waiheke

To improve accessibility and safety we are planning to move the bus stop from 26 Junction Road to 38 Junction Road.

The current bus stop is 130m away from it’s paired bus stop on the other side of the road which is opposite 40 Junction Road.

This change will make it more apparent where the opposite bus stop is for bus customers when they use the bus in the opposite direction.

Bus stop move work details:

• Removing the bus stop outside number 26 Junction Road (including the sign and road markings)
• Putting a new bus stop outside number 38 Junction Road, (including the sign, tactile pavers and road markings)

We expect these changes in November 2025; more information will be provided to residents at a later date.
