About the project
As a result of the Milford Town Centre parking study and with the support of the Milford Business Association, AT is proposing to convert the taxi stand to general street parking on Dodson Avenue beside 140-144 Kitchener Road, Milford.
The changes we're making in August/September 2026
- Remove the current Taxi stand, signage and road marking on Dobson Avenue beside 140-144 Kitchener Road.
- No new road markings are needed since the spaces will become part of P30 parking zone that applies to Milford Town Centre parking.

- More available parking spaces for those needing to visit Milford Town Centre.
What happens next
- It will take one day to paint the road markings in good weather conditions.
- We know this may cause some inconvenience, and we will minimise this as much as possible while balancing safety concerns.
- Please remember to park courteously and avoid blocking driveways. Vehicles parking illegally may receive infringement notices or be towed away.
