About the project
We recently informed residents of plans to restrict parking along Wilding Avenue. Following feedback, we are changing the majority of the parking restrictions to the opposite side.
The changes we're making by April 2026
- Installing no stopping at all times (broken yellow lines) in selected areas along Wilding Avenue as per updated drawing.
Benefits to your community
- Safer and easier for residents to get in and out of the street, use their driveways and access their homes.
- Clears access for emergency service and large vehicles such as rubbish trucks.
- Improves visibility for drivers to see oncoming cars, people walking, cycling and crossing the road - making the street safer for everyone.
What happens next
- Any change to the plan will be updated on our website.
- It will take one day to paint the road marking in good weather conditions.
- We know this may cause some inconvenience, and we will minimise this as much as possible while balancing safety concerns.
- Please remember to park courteously and avoid blocking driveways. Vehicles parked illegally may receive infringement notices or be towed away.
