Changes to bus stop and shelter outside 61-63 Hibiscus Coast Highway
We are planning to relocate the bus stop and shelter several metres along the road south of its current location. Please see the map below showing the area of proposed change.
This change is to help buses avoid hitting a power pole that is sited very close to the edge of the road.
How this will benefit your neighbourhood
This change will minimise the chance of disruptions to power and telecommunications in your neighbourhood. It will allow buses to safely pick up and drop off passengers ensuring an accessible and efficient bus service will be available to provide travel options for the community.
Tell us what you think
Listening to what you have to say is important to us. Your local knowledge can help us make better decisions, so together we can achieve the best outcomes for your neighbourhood. You can play a role in shaping the way we make this happen. Please let us know if you have any concerns or suggestions about this proposal.
What happens next
We expect these changes to be made later this year; more information will be provided to residents at a later date.
