About the project
Locals have told us that when cars park on both sides of Anselmi Ridge Road near the top of the hill, it makes it hard for drivers to pass each other, effectively turning the road into a one-way street, and potentially causing congestion at the roundabout intersection. Additionally, the parked cars and the slope make it difficult for drivers going up the hill to see oncoming traffic.
To help improve driver visibility we propose to install additional broken yellow lines.
What we are proposing
Paint additional broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times) along the northwest side of Anselmi Ridge Road. The broken yellow lines will extend to the driveway of 59 Anselmi Ridge Road.
Clearing this space of parked cars will make it easier for drivers and pedestrians to see oncoming traffic and make it safer to navigate the road.
To accommodate the change and provide better views of traffic particularly for drivers going up the hill, 3 on street parking spaces will be removed. This would make it easier for everyone to navigate the area, minimise potential blind spots, while ensuring minimal loss of parking.
