About the project

Improving parking availability outside 3 Bute Road, Browns Bay.

We have received a community request to replace the underutilised Taxi stand outside 3 Bute Road with general parking, as the supermarket it served has moved to a new location and taxis are using it less frequently.

The changes we’re making by March 2025

  • Remove the current Taxi Stand sign and yellow road markings.
  • Install a 90-minute time restriction (P90) that applies between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday

Benefits to your community

  • The underused parking area will be available for everyone.

Please remember to park correctly and avoid blocking access. Illegally parked vehicles may be fined or towed.
