About the project
We’re responding to requests from the community to increase safety and visibility for people crossing the road to the park on Ringi Lane, Orewa. To improve safety and make this part of Ringi Lane safer for everyone to use, we are proposing some changes.
The changes we're proposing
- Installing no stopping at all times (broken yellow lines) near the pram crossing at 16 Ringi Lane, which will remove two car parking spaces.
What happens next
- Following community engagement, we will be apply for a legal resolution to support these parking changes.
- Following approval, we expect to implement the changes in September 2026.
- The community will be notified before any works begin.
